It’s a balance of flavours enabling each ingredient to enhance another without over powering. Too many ingredients and you lose the steak flavour. The onions add the sweetness, the tomato chutney adds the acidic taste, the cheese adds further saltiness and the lettuce adds the freshness and crisp.
