Simon and I wrote this song as we were on the 13 hour train ride from Kirov to Moscow. We were sad to leave our Russian friends so we dedicated a song to them. David was the one who interrupted us halfway through, not the po-po. Lyrics: On the sad train to Moscow It was a sad, sad ride On the sad train to Moscow It was a bright, white night On the sad train to Moscow Had a блиядишка on my right And her belt was way too tight (so I loosened it up) On the sad train to Moscow She put up quite a fight On the sad train to Moscow I witnessed quite a sight On the sad train to Moscow It gave me quite a fright And if I ever saw it again I just might (piss myself) A few shots of vodka later... On the sad train to Moscow I had a couple drinks or so On the sad train to Moscow Rolled the dice and then passed go On the sad train to Moscow Cabin searched by the po-po Through the night I tried to lay low (on her) On the sad train to Moscow Had a bunch of gnomes, you know On the sad train to Moscow But I still wanted more As we rolled up to the station Got handcuffed on all four I was making out with the floor (and it tasted like хуй)
