Mind blowing history here! the Pope actually came here in 2021 for a visit, Abraham from the bible had a house here from what i was told. The guard called his boss to ask if we were allowed to go into the area where the royal tombs were! quite unbelievable and the old cuneiform writing in the clay looked like it had just been done! this Ziggurat and the temple on top were built around 2100BC, by King Ur-Nammu of the third Dynasty of Ur for the moon god Nanna!
