Fred Benedetti performs the Bach “Chaconne“ for Maestro Segovia in the 1986 Masterclass at USC. He is playing on a 1943 Hermann Hauser Sr. guitar loaned to him by Dorothy DeGoede. Dorothy graciously allowed the participants of the masterclass to use these instruments. To his knowledge Fred and Marcelo Kayath (who played a 1948 Hauser and who actually owns the instrument now) are the only participants who used these instruments.
