Protesters who seized the Abkhazian parliament are preparing to defend the building amid rumors of a possible security forces operation, and are building barricades in front of it, a Sputnik correspondent reports. Demonstrators, who have demanded the resignation of President Aslan Bzhania, have also brought supplies including water, bread and drinks to the parliament. Opposition leaders and public organizations in Abkhazia have formed a Coordination Council to negotiate with authorities.
