A fierce supercell hailstorm unleashed thousands of large hailstones onto vehicles driving along the Bruce Highway in Queensland. Filmed on November 17, Mick Taplin was driving to the Royal Brisbane hospital to visit his mother when a passing hailstorm rained down “ice bombs“ onto their vehicle, cracking the windscreen.
