Hunting GIANT Bears in Canada!! Catch Clean Cook

Bear hunting is one of the funnest animals to hunt with a bow. Close range with a huge animal always gets the heart going. The first full day of hunting my dad and I headed out for an 8 hour sit in the tree. Within the first hour we had two nice black bears come in. Holding out for a color phased bear the black bears left and there was nothing but birds for about two hours. Knowing that bear I was after had been coming in just about every day for the past week I was patient and waited him out. About two hours later here he came. IO made a perfect ethical shot and he laid about five feet from the tree I was sitting in. We took him back to camp and cooked up some backstraps.
