The folk ensemble “Nedeia” belongs to “Casa de Cultura” from Novaci, Romania. It was founded back in 1977, as a group of whistlers and represents a community of people with a tradition of more than 2000 years in farming and raising animals. Nowadays “Nedeia” counts 45 members, all amateur artists who promote the folk dance, songs, costumes and traditions that are still respected in the area of the highest road of Romania, TRANSALPINA.
