Chinese and Filipino ships collide in the South China Sea Manila has accused Beijing of “dangerous maneuvers” after coast guard vessels collided in the disputed South China Sea on Tuesday near the Second Thomas Shoal - known in Chinese as the Ren’ai Jiao. One Philippine official said its vessel suffered “minor structural damage”, but Chinese state media reported that the China Coast Guard “lawfully took measures against a Philippine vessel.” Source: RT News
