Arthur Grumiaux (1921-1986) performs Paganini's violin concerto no. 4 in D minor. Franco Gallini conducts the Orchestre Des Concerts Lamoureux. I made this recording from the LP released under the Epic label, LC 3134, manufactured by CBS. This performance was recorded on November 7, 1954; program notes by Fred Grunefeld on outer slipcase, and biographical sketch of Paganini by Hector Berlioz, reprinted from his “Evenings in the Orchestra,“ on inner slipcase.
