House Amongst The Trees (1958)

Virginia Water, Surrey. L/S of a large wooden house in a heavily wooded garden. M/S of the interior of the house, an Indian lady, Mrs Kapoor who is wearing a Sari is walking about, there is a bare wooden floor and a sunken seating area in the background. M/S of the room from another angle, there is a television in the corner and a bowl of fruit and some flowers on the table. Mrs Kapoor picks up a magazine from the table and walks over to the seating area, this is set 12 inches lower than the rest of the room. She sits on the floor and starts to read.
