War and Peace is an Epic novel by Leo Tolstoy that captures the lives of Russian aristocrats from the time period of 1805-1812. The novel captures the glitz and glamour of the aristocratic lives of Moscow and St Petersberg while giving compelling accounts of the Battles of Australitz, Smolensk and Borodino that changed the Russian lives forever.
