PZL-Mielec An-2 colza spraying near Nagyknyi

This PZL-Mielec An-2 started to operate in Hungary in 1975. She was mainly used for spraying and mosquito control flights. Nowadays it operates from Őcsény airfield for the same tasks. The Antonov An-2 is a Soviet mass-produced single-engine biplaneutility agricultural aircraft designed and manufactured by the Antonov Design Bureau since 1946. Later Poland and China got the manufacture of the tipe, and made brand new An-2s until 2004. The Antonov’s engine is has 1000 horse power which you can extremely feel when you are standing close.
