Here is the first volume in a new series by Guro Harley Elmore in which he presents the art of Maphilindo Silat. This is a mixed system originally developed by Dan Inosanto which includes techniques culled from Malaysian, Filipino and Indonesean forms of Silat. Guro Elmore, like many instructors who have their base in JKD, gives us not only new techniques but also the guiding principles behind them which helps anyone from any style easily incorporate them into their individual systems.
