Architect Yong Sy Lyng reworked its limited space with an industrial aesthetic in mind, embracing raw plywood and concrete surfaces, and opening up its living space to incorporate the full 6.9 metre height of the loft. Removing a bedroom wall allowed her to replace it with full height wardrobes and in turn replaced a fixed staircase with a collapsible one that can be tucked away as needed. Examples of this flex
