This is a minimal remix of Giles Martin's official 2022 remix of The Beatles' “Yellow Submarine.“ I made only three changes. First, I moved the rhythm guitar from the center to the outer edges, a placement more typical for recordings with a strong acoustic guitar presence. Second, I centered the drums, allowing the kick drum to lock in nicely with the bass guitar, as Giles had originally mixed the drums off-center. Third, as a novelty and to capture a style that was soon to follow with “Sgt. Pepper's,“ I panned the horn break across the stereo stage, moving from right to left. No other changes were made, and nothing was added that wasn't part of the original. Thanks for listening!
