Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov gives a speech at a new round of Moscow format consultations on Afghanistan which take place in the Russian capital on Wednesday, October 20. Representatives of 10 countries of the region and a high-level Taliban delegation representing Afghanistan are due to participate in the meeting. Prospects for further development of the military-political situation in Afghanistan and the formation of an inclusive government as well as international efforts in preventing humanitarian crisis in this country are expected to be the main topics on the agenda.
