Carnival party at Leblon Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Even without the traditional carnival blocks and parade of the samba schools, the carnival period has not gone completely blank for the Cariocas. They filled a stretch of Leblon Beach to celebrate. Many beautiful, cheerful young people in a fun atmosphere. This is the middle and upper class in Rio de Janeiro that does not usually go to the traditional Copacabana Beach, as many tourists imagine it to be. Copacabana Beach is mostly frequented by the lower middle class or lower class population, of course, with exceptions to the rule.
