Ireland is once again suffering from extreme weather. Storm Babet is the second storm of the season and is expected to last through Saturday. Heavy rain and strong winds are felt across the country. Defense forces have been deployed to East Cork due to severe flooding in the region. A month's worth of rain fell in just 24 hours. Severe flooding has also been reported in Midleton. The streets turned into rivers, cars were stuck in the water. Severe flooding was also reported elsewhere.
