We had a fantastic week in Oaxaca city for Semana Santa. We took the overnight bus out from the coast and slept more than I anticipated. Upon arrival, we ran into my good friend Rene and went exploring the old town neighborhood of Xochimilco. Next up, we headed to Biohuacal on a Hacienda just out of town for some farm to table love. The meal was prepared using ingredients from the farm, by chef Carlos Tellez from Cubo Mexcio. Basically Cubo is a restaurant experience in the woods outside of Mexico city (curated by Anais - The Curious Mexican) and he's the in house chef. They have now taken their show on the road to other organic city farms and cue - Biohuacal. Farm tour was great, food was great. It was a blast.
