Law & Order: Special Victims Unit | season 16 promo

In the 16th season of this crime drama, Det. Dominick “Sonny“ Carisi (Peter Scanavino) joins the squad and gets off to a rough start. Meanwhile, life as a foster mother is not easy for Benson (Mariska Hargitay) when baby Noah’s life is put in jeopardy after Amaro (Danny Pino) does some undercover work linked to Noah’s deceased biological mother. Further problems arise when the identity of Noah’s father is discovered. Benson’s professional life grows more complicated as well, thanks to pressure from William Dodds (Peter Gallagher), the newly appointed deputy chief. Guest stars this season include Marcia Cross as a wife accused of sexually abusing her elderly husband; Rob Morrow as a headline-grabbing TV host; and Harry Hamlin as the deputy chief in Atlanta—and a man with a past connection to Rollins (Kelli Giddish). 2014 - 2015
