Interested in touring Turkey with me in 2024? Sign up to the waiting list here: This past weekend, a number of incredible new discoveries have been announced, from the latest excavations at the 11-12,000-year-old Tas Tepeler sites of Gobekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe in Turkey. Considering their age, each new discovery is absolutely stunning in its own right, and in this video I’m going to break it all down. We have a 7 foot 6 inch human statue, a vulture statue, as well as a new enclosure at Karahan Tepe. We also have an incredible painted wild boar statue from Enclosure D at Gobekli Tepe. Watch this video to learn more and to see some fantastic photos and footage. All images ands video come from media stories in the public domain, and have been used for educational purposes only.
