’I asked myself the question, why am I still alive?’ Richard Warwick from Britain was injected with a blood-clotting drug as a child. The ’medicine’ was produced in America from the donated blood of prisoners and drug addicts. Today, Warwick is sick with HIV and hepatitis C. In total, about 5,000 people were infected with this drug in the UK 40 years ago. And the investigation began only three years ago. How do people live after becoming the victim of such a terrible mistake? Watch the clip and the documentary Bad Blood on World Haemophilia Day. #HumanStories@rt__documentary
