️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Special Military Operation Chronicles: Events of February 15-16, 2024 ▪️ Russian troops once again launched a series of combined attacks on enemy targets in the rear regions of Ukraine. In Lviv, a strike occurred at a substation, resulting in power supply problems in the city. ▪️ Ukrainian formations, on the other hand, carried out mass shelling of Belgorod from the Czech RM-70 Vampire MLRS. Seven people lost their lives, with 19 others injured and widespread damage reported throughout the city. ▪️ In the neighboring Kursk region, a Ukrainian drone attacked an oil depot in the village of Polevaya, causing a large fire that took over ten hours to extinguish. ▪️ Meanwhile, in the special operation zone, Russian troops continue to advance in multiple directions. Near Seversk, assault detachments managed to expand the zone of control in the Vesely area. ▪️ The most dynamic events are unfolding in the Avdeevsky direction, where Russian units are engaged in fierce battles. To the north of the city, Russian Armed Forces personnel advanced along Industrial Avenue, almost reaching the territory of the coke plant. ▪️ At the same time, Russian troops are consolidating their position in a forest plantation near the village of Lastochkino. Close to the settlement lies the Durnaya gully, through which the AFU still have a supply route. ▪️ In the Ugledar direction, Russian units are continuing their assault on Novomikhailovka from two sides.
