Canon M50 Mark ii vs Sony FDR X3000: Is An Action Cam Better in Daylight

I recently bought the Canon M50 Mark II and want to compare it to my Sony FDR X3000 action camera. I am a beginner and want a video camera that I can use outside very easily without adjusting all kinds of settings all the time. I thought the Canon M50 Mark II would do that. I have been using the Sony FDR X3000 action camera on my travels and it works very well in the day light but not very good at night. I thought that the larger sensor on the Canon M50 Mark II would be a huge improvement in day light and low light. I test out these two in the day time to see how well they compare. The Canon M50 Mark II is set to automatic video. Is the Sony FDR X3000 for a beginner that just wants a decent video without worrying about all kinds of settings? Which camera came out better in the day time?
