What makes media problematic? Why does that even matter? In my effort to cover every Monogatari arc, Shinobu Time posed a challenge. It captures everything I love about the series that puts it among my everything I hate that makes it a tough recommendation. I could talk about the former, but I feel this is the perfect opportunity to discuss my issues with it, while offering my take on problematic media as a whole--how we engage with it and what impact it can have. Hint: Monogatari is not cancelled, but that doesn't mean it's excused either. This video was edited by Christopher “MrNiesGuy” Nies.
