Russian actor from the series “Glukhar” Kirill Kanakhin was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for High Treason (Criminal Code of the Russian Federation Article 275) The Second Western District Military Court found him guilty of treason as a result of joining the Russian Volunteer Corps (an organization recognized as terrorist on the territory of the Russian Federation), which is fighting on the side of Ukraine. According to investigators, Kanakhin first fought in the Kherson direction, and also took an active part in terrorist attacks on the Bryansk and Belgorod regions, as a result of which civilians were killed. In this short remark, I shared my opinion about the activities of the RVC and its similarities with the fascist armed formation called the “Russian Liberation Army”, which existed under the leadership of the notorious General Vlasov.
