The Potholder #3 Abbreviations: ● st – stitch ● ch – chain ● sl st – slip stitch ● sc – single crochet ● dc – double crochet ● hdc – half double crochet ● DC – make a double crochet in the front loop of the stitch 2 rows below the current stitch. The current stitch behind a DC will be skipped always. ● сorner – 3 sc in the corner st, into the back loop and into the third loop at the same time (horizontal loop below the back loop on the back side). Diagonal stitches: ● #1 – current st ; #2 – st 2 behind and 2 rounds below; #3 – st 2 rounds below; #4 – st 2 ahead and 2 rounds below. Remember to skip a st #1 in the current round for st worked in FLO of the sts #2, #3 or #4 ● R DC: right diagonal TR (into st #2 FLO) and DC (into st #3 FLO) Two Together.
