How To Play A 7-Stroke Roll with Brushes in 6 Steps Step 1️⃣ Subdivision = 8th notes. RH outwards on 1, LH inwards on 2 Step 2️⃣ Add RH inwards on 3 (underneath LH) Step 3️⃣ Add LH outwards on 4 (crossed over the top of the RH) Step 4️⃣ Double the subdivision to 16th notes Step 5️⃣ Double the subdivision to 32nd notes Step 6️⃣ Play a funk groove (like this one: ) and add the 7-stroke roll on beat 4 Step 7️⃣ Add some funky music and away you go! #jazzbrushes #drumbrushes #drumlesson #shorts
