The German Dead of Bastogne | American Artifact Episode 111

During the Battle of the Bulge, the Bastogne perimeter saw some of the most fierce fighting as the German tried to wrestle control of the road hub from the American defenders. When the German tide receded, it left thousands of dead behind on both sides. In this episode of American Artifact, we're visiting some of the grave sites of both the Americans and the Germans and bringing a German artifact from the collection of the Gettysburg Museum of History back to the area where the soldier who owned it fought during the Battle of the Bulge.
