Winter is HERE! Just because ski resorts are closed, doesn't necessarily mean you can't ride them. Some resorts allow uphill travel before or after the season starts. EVEN resorts like Alta, which DON'T ALLOW SNOWBOARDERS during the operating season. Check with your local resort to see if uphill travel is allowed and if it's on private property (Alta isn't), so you can earn your turns. With days like this, believe me. It's worth it.
