Spectacular Release of Cape Vultures

We have had the most spectacular day releasing birds with our VulPro community. We were able to release 9 healthy Cape Vulture fledglings at the Nooitgedacht colony today after their successful rescue and rehabilitation. Thank you to everyone involved with today's release, from the volunteers who moved the birds up the mountain, to the individuals who donated to VulPro to open crates, and to our hosts at Nooitgedacht Farm for allowing us to release the birds on the mountain and for protecting the special birds living there. Finally, thank you to everyone that attended today that dropped off supplies for us too! We genuinely cannot thank you all enough for your support. Because of you, special days like today can happen and we can continue to protect these incredible birds.
