Les Boeufs, France. Major General Sir Geoffrey Feilding with French military men, inspecting troops on an old battlefield in the Somme. He reads a speech, then walks over to the new war memorial and pulls a cord to release a drape from the huge cross. A clergyman makes a speech before the memorial. Major General Sir Feilding places a wreath at the base of the memorial; several children and adults put flowers and wreaths on the steps to the memorial.
