For over 30 years, I have dedicated my life to playing the violin, composing and arranging instrumental music, and writing poetry and songs. Music is my passion, and every day I am grateful for the opportunity to be an artist on stage and behind the scenes, working in my studio where I create music for films and collaborate with musicians and singers from all over the world. Recently, I was honored to be selected by the International Performing Arts Foundation for a unique opportunity. They have offered me the chance to purchase a remarkable violin at a fraction of its market price. Each year, the foundation carefully chooses a select number of musicians to sponsor the purchase of fine musical instruments, and I am fortunate to be one of this year’s recipients. The violin I have been offered is truly extraordinary. It was crafted by the renowned Italian luthier Antonio Tunioli in 1940. From the moment I played it, I knew this instrument was something special. It fills my heart with joy every time I draw the bow across its strings. Over the past month, I have had the privilege of performing two concerts on this violin, and it has been meticulously restored to its optimal condition by my dear friend and luthier, Andronik d’Andre.
