Space Is The Place To Be 2015 Mystic Brew, an up-and-grooving group from the Russian city of Samara, love 60’s US garage and psychedelic music and aren’t afraid to profess their love. The boys in the band have immersed themselves in the sound of that era, adsorbing its elements, and fondly and fabulously re-creating it on their recordings. As devoted Doors fans, they’ve recorded a tribute composition “The World Won’t Be The Same”, full of Manzarek-influenced keyboards and quotes from “Light My Fire”. They admire the Smoke’s “My Friend Jack” and audaciously incorporate that shimmering and crunchy reverb-laden guitar into their sound. Hypnotic vocals, meandering bass lines, plangent drums, mesmerizing organ, scorching guitar... with these assorted, mind-blowing sounds – Dmitry, Stas, Alexei, Alexander and Marat really can guide you through a time tunnel to some American club in 1966.
