In this video, I will use one of the short Latin stories I mix into my own classroom from H.J. Hardy's “A Latin Reader for the Lower Forms of School“ (1889). This reader contains hundreds of short stories on a variety of themes (some historical, some fictional) involving Greek/Roman history and culture. While Hardy implies this should be a Beginning level reader, I would say these stories are more appropriate for Intermediate Latin students (Latin 2/3, depending on curriculum), as they do include more advanced grammar such as Subjunctive Mood.
