It has been a while since I uploaded a video of playing either zouk or mando; this tune is an original reel, following closely after the Irish traditional style, though it does have features of the Scottish as well. For my zouk, I tune down a whole step down from standard GDAE tuning across the board, and usually now use a capo on the second fret to bring it up to GDAE..
