Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis is not going easy on Donald Trump, and it was announced this week that she is preparing to call more than 150 witnesses against him during a trial that is expected to last FOUR MONTHS. This is a massive blow to Trump, as the trial will cut into his campaigning time and the long list of witnesses will create a slow drip of bad news every day for him. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's going to happen. Fulton County District Attorney Fannie Willis, basically announced this week that she is going to go scorched earth against both Donald Trump and all of the other indicted co-defendants in this case. And the reason we can go ahead and assume she's going scorched earth is 'cause she announced that she plans to call more than 150 witnesses for the prosecution in a trial that she is expecting to take four months, four months in the middle of Donald Trump's presidential campaign. That's going to hurt. Um, of course that four month time period could be the total length of time for all the trials. 'cause there will be a couple people who are separated. But, uh, I don't know, I mean, here's the thing, 100, like the four months is, is enough. Like, holy crap, that's a big time. But 150 plus witnesses understand something. For those of you who are not really familiar with the law and trials and things like that, 150 witnesses is like unheard of that. That's, that's not typical even in, you know, a massive, huge trial. 150 people are available that Fannie Willis believes bolster her case that these 19 people, including Trump committed crimes 150 people witness things that she believes if these 150 people tell their stories will result in convictions. I just, I I, I really, I want you to wrap your heads around that for just a moment, folks, because that truly is a massive undertaking. It shows that Willis has done her homework. It shows that she was thorough beyond anybody's expectations, and it shows that she knows what the hell she is doing. This is absolutely remarkable, and again, let me point out four months for trial, even if it is spread among a couple different trials, you're still talking about taking a significant amount of Donald Trump's time when he should be out there campaigning. But instead what's going to happen is each and every one of these 150 plus people take the stand one at a time. There's going to be that slow leak, right? Every day because of the sheer number of witnesses we're going to have every day. We'll get a new story about what happened in Georgia, and I don't mean like a new different story. We'll get more pieces of the puzzle. So this Will be a slow drip of information that is going to hopefully convince the jury that these people, all 19 of them, are guilty as hell. We'll have to wait and see, but I, I, I cannot express enough how impressed I am with Fannie Willis because what she has done here I is beyond mind blowing, like kudos to her. If Merrick Garland retires, she might be in line to be the next attorney general because she's that good.
