To apply the ancient Muay Thai inward elbow-knee, we can focus on the elbow, the knee, or both strikes. If we focus on the elbow, the knee would simply graze the body because the objective is to land with the elbow. If we focus on the knee, then we aim the knee in the middle of the body with more of a thrust forward in order to land before the elbow. And if we strike with both elbow and knee, we throw both at the same time. This technique is useful in both martial arts sport and self-defense applications.
