No title. Man in a smock sits at a table making a sketch. C/U of the man applying paint and stickers to pieces of wood. “...other shaped pieces “fretworked.“ M/S of man working a cutting device - a fret saw (?). Various shots of the craftsman cutting out shapes from wood. “...glued on a moulded fabric.“ M/S of the man applying small pieces of wood to a moulded hat shape. C/U of small pieces of wood being picked up with tweezers. Glue is painted onto the hat shape and the pieces of wood are glued on. “...and varnished.“ The marquetry hat shape is varnished. “The last word - the parquet hat!“ C/U of a woman modelling the fabulous wooden hat. “All kind - and all wood!“ Other hats are modelled - lovely. Two models stand by the edge of a lake modelling the hats. C/U of one of the women taking off the hat and showing it to the camera. The hats are rather fabulous! Was an item in Eve's Film Review issue number 569. Note: flash-frame intertitles. These really are amazing hats! FILM I
