Maigei Wong Wing Chun Kuen (Mi Ji Wang Yong Chun Quan) was created by Wang Wufong, better known as “Maigei“ (Rice Thresher) Wong. Wang Wufong learned yong chun from Wang Jin, the only official student of Ruan Ji Shan. Before his death, Wang Jin recommended him to his “younger brother“ (and the true successor of Ruan Ji Shan's tradition) Ceng Neng. From Ceng Neng, he learned the 12 sanshou of Zhang Bao Yong Chun Quan. “Maigei“ Wang was also an expert in Northern Shaolin, Tai Chi, Bagua, Tantui, Mojia, Xingyi, Boxing, Wrestling, and Weightlifting. He “added many new things“ to his yong chun, teaching it in Huayuan County and the Pearl River Delta. His son Wong Nim Yi opened a school in Guangzhou. The style became known in the West thanks to his Czech student Ivan Rzunek. The film presents the xiaolintou form, basic strikes and movements, paired combinations. In terms of execution style, scope of technique and picture quality - the best overview film on yongchunquan
