This video is for landlords thinking of selling their place. Whenever you sell your place, it's always better to have the property be vacant so an agent like me has unfettered access to show the unit. And it gives you the chance to do some cosmetic touch-ups like a fresh paint job.   Unfettered access is key because buyers want to step inside your home in person and get a feel for it--much like test-driving a car they want to buy. It's perfectly fine to sell the unit with a cooperative tenant. The trouble comes when the tenants are not cooperative and very messy. Homes like this don't sell well. This will cut into your bottom line and leave you with less money from your sale--you can lose tens of thousands of dollars.   The good news is that there's a fair way to end the tenancy with your tenant.
