French President Emmanuel Macron and US President Joe Biden have been holding talks in Paris, where Biden is on an official state visit. Both leaders welcomed the release of four hostages held by Palestinian militants in Gaza by an Israeli military operation. They also said they would increase efforts to ensure the current conflict in the Middle East doesn't expand. Ukraine also was on the agenda, with Biden warning once again that Vladimir Putin's aggression wouldn't stop with Kyiv, saying that all of Europe was at risk.
