This is another of the candid videos from a recording session Richard and I did for guide tracks for my forthcoming Scottish album. How it works- I record my rough vocals to Richard's guitar so that the other musicians can use the track as a guide for their input- clarsach, backing vocals, djembe, double bass and accordion. Then I rerecord my vocals and Richard masters it all. :) Mum filmed this session because I need the recording evidence for college. Wild Mountain Thyme is a song by William McPeake, a Belfast man, but has often been sung by Scots as well.
