Kremlin Trolls Active in Latvia: Russia 'subverting Baltic state' with online propaganda efforts

Russia is working to manipulate public opinion in neighbouring Latvia. That's according to the Baltic News Network, who claim that the Kremlin is funding 'internet trolls' whose role is to promote Moscow propaganda and undermine the Latvian government. Undercover research from media outlet Novaya Gazeta found that trolls were being given daily topics on which to project the Kremlin viewpoint by writing blog posts, voting in online polls and posting misleading pictures on social media.
