The Science Behind SteinsGate, and How does SteinsGate 0 Fit In

CORRECTION: Unfortunately, with the way Steins;Gate 0 was adapted, I can no longer recommend the watch order I mention in this video. Despite creating 23 β to lead into 0, the ending assumes you’ve seen all of the OG series. I apologize for anyone whose enjoyment was affected. The time travel in Steins;Gate makes for good TV, but is it sound science? Surprisingly yes! Well, mostly. Despite most anime being pretty “out there,“ Steins;Gate bases its plot devices off of actual scientific theory. I’ll try to explain how the show mixes in the concepts of strange attractors, the Black Hole theory, and the Many Worlds Interpretation. Also, with Steins;Gate 0, there’s a new watch order!
