Shot in the late 1920s or early 1930s, these silent home movies show a trip to Brazil including Rio de Janeiro. There are terrific street scenes beginning about the 5 minute mark, including trams / trolley cars in the streets. It's remarkable to see a great deal of empty real estate in the vistas of the city, given how developed it is today. There are many sights in the film we cannot identify, including what appears to be a visit to another city. If you have any insights, please add them into the comments
