In Spain, there are a whole host of expressions that we can scarcely understand, ranging from colourful “muletillas” or “filler words” to unique jargon derived from other language influences and pop culture. Sara and José have been getting to grips with some of these modern phrases starting out from the aptly named Plaza de la Juventud in Barcelona. They also ask our interviewees about expressions that used to be common, but have fallen out of fashion, as well as for some of the origins behind them! --- --- PRODUCED BY: Easy Languages is an international video project aiming at supporting people worldwide to learn languages through authentic street interviews and exposing the street culture of participating partner countries abroad.
