The seashore is rich with nutritious food sources that can be combined with land plants to create a delicious nutrient-dense soup. In this video I forage along the coast collecting California sea mussels and owl limpets and then collect miner's lettuce and early onion behind my Hut. I combined these ingredients in a clay bowl and added ground laurel sumac seed I collected the previous summer and cooked it on my adobe rocket stove for a wonderful dinner. Follow me on
