According to Mash, at 2:28 AM, a young man in a light sweatshirt approached a Toyota Land Cruiser and placed explosives under the vehicle, near the driver’s seat. He then fled. At 6:30 AM, an explosion occurred in the courtyard of a building on Sinyavinskaya Street in Moscow, while the officer and his wife were inside the vehicle. The deputy head of the military satellite communications radio center had his feet blown off but survived. He and his wife are in intensive care, him being in serious condition.
